Providing access to water is only the beginning. The real challenge is ensuring that safe water continues to reach communities and that investments in water infrastructure deliver lasting, measurable impact.
On 16 September 2026, we’re hosting a WASH-focused webinar exploring the WaterSafe model and how Rotary clubs can use it to strengthen and protect their own water projects.
We’ll look at why waterborne diseases remain a challenge despite significant investment in water infrastructure, and why protecting the “last mile” is so important. We’ll explore how WaterSafe helps safeguard large-scale water investments while providing the measurement, reporting, and project finality increasingly important to Rotary’s global grant process. The webinar will feature Connie Cheren, Rotarian and Director of Partners for Care, who will share firsthand experiences and lessons from working with communities in Kenya.
Beyond learning about WaterSafe, this one-hour session is an opportunity for Rotary clubs to connect across districts and countries, exchange ideas, discuss their own water and sanitation projects, and explore opportunities for partnership.
