WaterSafe Featured in Reader’s Digest India: Carrying Change, One Drop at a Time

We are delighted to see WaterSafe featured in Reader’s Digest India in a powerful story titled “Carrying Change.” The feature shines a light on WaterSafe as a simple yet meaningful solution designed to make the daily task of collecting and carrying and storing water safer and more dignified.

For generations, women in the arid villages of Rajasthan have carried pots of water on their heads, often walking long distances under the intense desert sun. Where water is scarce, this physically demanding journey is an unavoidable part of everyday life.

WaterSafe, developed by Flexible Packaging Solutions and distributed through the grassroots efforts of Dhara Sansthan, offers an alternative. The backpack is designed to provide a safer and more convenient way to transport, store and dispense water, helping reduce some of the challenges associated with traditional water-carrying methods.
